Reading this Bible has been a reminder of the great joy it is to read or rather be with the Bible. The art gild is mesmerizing and to see the Shepherd emerge from the pages at nearly every angle reminds me with each Word that He is truly near.
The artwork is breathtaking and provides for a point of connection that further enhances the pleasure of Reading and seeing these moments with Jesus as a relationship and not a story. The art adds to the experience and makes you look forward even more to the coming pages.
The blue, added to the words of Christ, scripture references and chapter numbers remind me of God‘s holiness and can serve as a reminder to our obedience to God as in Numbers 15.
The leather that holds the pages is very durable and the lunar yellow is an accent and a reminder of the beauty and draw of His Word. How can you not want to pick up and even more so look inside this treasure. Overall, the leather is much like some Schuyler Bibles that I use daily.
Finally, the paper is a bit thin and not opaque but I’m not sure the gsm could be much more without turning the Bible into a variation of the Schuyler brick.
I say again, the Bible is a pleasure and can only encourage encounter and isn’t that one of the major results of the Bible. May we ever encounter Him. Bravo!
