If this were smaller it would be my everyday bible. I adored humble lambs layout. This bible is 5 star fab. I love watching Tim on y-tube to find the latest and greatest. And, he was spot on with this. His touches add so much class. And, I am so happy I snagged one.
I absolutely adore the shepherd theme! This is my first Humble Lamb Bible. I own other high-quality bibles, but when I saw this edition, I couldn’t resist.
The standout feature is the unique and well-crafted shepherd and wolf scene on the edges when the Bible is open. The blue text for Jesus’ words, chapter numbers, and verse references in the margins is also a great touch. I appreciate the single-column format, which makes reading more comfortable.
However, there are a few things I would like to see in a Bible over $200. Please please please start a new book on a new page! This is a high end bible, not a kjv pew bible. : ) The leather cover feels thin and plastic-like. The stamping and lettering on the inside back and front covers are a bit too large and detract from the overall high-end feel of the Bible. I would love to see the font be a bit larger and perhaps bolder.
Overall, this is a great edition with plenty of room for improvement.
This Bible is beautiful. I couldn’t be happier. The leather is rich and supple, feels wonderful in my hands. The paper is nice to touch and the guilt is eye catching. I have never had a Bible with a full yap and it is wonderful. The cost of these Bibles is well worth it. I plan to order a few more as gifts. Thank you to Daniel and the Humble Lamb crew for bringing outward beauty to GOD’s Beautiful Word.
The leather feels great to touch. It makes us want to open the book and read more. Quality is excellent that it will last for a long time. Highly recommended. I prefer this to Schuyler.
I love the Humble Lamb Bibles! I bought a HIStory NASB (Lunar Yellow) and it's amazing! Got the NKJV Shepard Desert Sky because I was looking for the Tim Wildsmith connection with Humble Lamb, what a combo!
I was not disappointed by the text block or the color scheme or the fit and feel, I was disappointed that there were rumpled pages in the front and a ding/scrape in the top gilding.
Since this is a limited edition, there's no replacing it, just sad that it had damage before arrival.
This won't stop me from other Humble Lamb Bibles.
