Outstanding and excellent well made and thought out Bible
My NLT SonRise is beautiful. Feels great in my hands. The leather is quality, especially compared to my other Bibles. Paper is excellent. Construction is done well. Love the font, easy to read even for my aging eyes. The artwork is fantastic and draws the eye. This is my first "premium" bible so I may be easily impressed, but I am sure it is not my last Humble Lamb.
I purchased the black NLT with the art gilt! It exceeded my expectations. I am a preacher and it’s a perfect Bible to preach out of. I wasn’t sure of the single column layout because I’m more of a two column guy, but I find it very readable and easy to preach out of. The quality is excellent as well. The biggest bonus for me was the quality of the paper. My highlighters do not bleed through which is awesome because I enjoy highlighting my Bible regularly.
Delivered as promised. The quality of the materials, the attention to detail, the artwork, the printing, all of it is top notch! As some other reviews have pointed out, the print could do with a little more padding toward the binding, but it’s a minor nitpick, it does not impede reading.
This bible is the exact one I was looking for in the NLT version. I bought the forest green and the color is just that, a dark forest green, very pretty color. The cover is a beautiful leather with a half yap that protects the pages. I don’t need a bible cover. The pages are a little too thin for me, but I can use a bleed proof highlighter and it works great. Reading it in a book format is taking me awhile to get used to but I really recommend this bible. It feels perfect in my hands and lays out so easily when opened. I love this bible, I just wish it was made in the USA like I thought it was. The bible says printed and hand crafted in China, I am not so sure I would have bought it because my other bibles made in China had the binding come apart and have pages fall out. I won’t know about the binding until I continue my daily use of it. All in all this bible is perfect for me and I would buy again.
